Resident Evil Village will be present on PS4 and Xbox One as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X, at least it was revealed in a presentation at the ‘Tokyo Game Show’ by Tsuyoshi Kanda, the producer of the legendary game.
During his prison, Kanda explained that Resident Evil Village is now being developed specifically to be present on consoles and PCs in future generations.
“Our team is also looking for ways to present this game experience on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well,” said Kanda, as quoted by Gizmodo, Sunday (27/9).
However, Kanda emphasized that Capcom did not want to promise to go further, “but we will make sure to do our best,” he continued.
But Resident Evil Village will likely come to many consoles and PCs, it will happen considering the release schedule of the game which is scheduled to launch in 2021, the release date is not certain.
The impact of the delay in the release schedule is also one of the reasons Capcom is considering developing further versions of the PS4 and Xbox One.
Meanwhile, in conjunction with the Tokyo Game Show presentation, Capcom also released a video telling the story of a new developer for Resident Evil Village.

In this video, there are many explanations about the development of the game, such as motives, or the selection of a story that reportedly will continue the story of Ethan Winters who was present at the events of Resident Evil 7.
In the video footage, there is a glimpse into the game showing a first-person perspective and an overview of the game’s exploratory environment. According to Director Morimasa Sato at Resident Evil Village, there will be many processes later for you to freely play the game. “It’s like in real life, what do you do if you are there naturally,” said Sato.
