Google Pay Adds Support For 25 Banks in 14 countries and is the most popular mobile payment provider on a global level.
Already present two years ago and continue to make updates, the latest as reported by Android Police, Google began sending new updates to Google Pay.
The update includes support for 25 new banks, in 14 countries. Mostly in the European region, Luna in Sweden and Norway. Apart from that, it looks like the Revolution in Norway, but there are also Australia and Japan.
These banks include Queensland Country Bank in Australia, Lunar in Denmark, Augsburg Aktienbank in Germany, Idea Bank in Poland, and Industrial Agricultural Bank Ltd.
Unfortunately, there are no new countries on the list. Google Pay is said to require more time to expand its presence to other countries.
Previously, Google Pay Adds Biometric Authentication for Past Money Transfers in the past, if you want to send money through Google Pay you will be asked to use the legacy PIN pattern method to authenticate the transfer.
Starting with version 2.100 Google finally added support for fingerprints and face authentication for money transfers thanks to the Android 10 biometric API.
Previously users were only limited to using Google Account Pins but now can switch to biometric authentication.
